Idea Box

Electronic plexiglas presentation device

The Idea Box was created as part of my portfolio for admission to the Emily Carr Institute. The Idea Box is intended to surprise and delight users, and to represent the creativity of its creator.

When opened, the sides of the box fall down and switch on an internal battery-powered lightbulb. The lightbulb acts as a symbol for imagination and inspiration, and shines through work in four media printed on transparencies. The transparencies can be removed and viewed on the sides of the box.
